Ody Lee Hartman Johnson

February 25, 1930 – April 20, 2024

     Ody Lee Hartman Johnson, 94, of Lincolnton passed away on April 20, 2024 at the Greens of Lincolnton.  Ody was born on February 25, 1930 to the late Christy Amzi and Dovie Brittain Hartman in Cleveland County.  She was a loving wife, and mother to her children. Ody was a member of Gainsville Baptist Church.  She loved to crochet and picking blueberries.  In addition to her parents, Ody was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert F. Johnson, one son, Franklin Eugene Johnson, and numerous brothers and sisters.
     Ody is survived by one son, Carroll Johnson and wife Deana, one grand-daughter, Jessica Towery and husband Brad, one grandson, Taylor Johnson and wife Jessica, two great-granddaughters; Kaylon Towery, and Winnlee Johnson, one great-grandson, Seth Towery, and many other cherished relatives and friends.
     The Johnson family will receive friends from 12 to 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Gainsville Baptist Church located at 276 Gainsville Church Rd. Lincolnton, NC.  The funeral service will be at 1 pm in the church sanctuary with Pastor Charles Holland officiating. The interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.  E.F.
