Larry Dean Schronce

Larry Dean Schronce, 80 of Lincolnton passed away at his residence on October 13, 2022.  Larry was born on September 4, 1942 in Lincoln County, NC to the late Ruby Ann Schronce and Richard Bachman.  He was known by many as “L.D.”.  Larry worked at Mohican Mills in the dye house for many years until he retired.  He was a devoted member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Hickory.   In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by two brothers; Barry Allen “Bugs” Schronce and Jack Lynn.
     Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Bridges Schronce, three sons; Gene Douglas Schronce, Christopher Lee Schronce, and John Devon Black, one daughter, Jacqueline Garrison, mother-in-law, Tressie Bridges, brother-in-law, J.D. Bridges, grandson, Brandon Dowdy, 3 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and other cherished relatives and friends.
     The Schronce family will receive friends from 2:00pm - 3:00pm on Sunday October 16, 2022 at Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Hickory, NC.  The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the sanctuary at Unity Missionary Baptist Church.  Pastor Eric Blankenship will be officiating.
