Richard Marshall Jones, 84 of Iron Station passed away on November 8, 2023 at Atrium-Lincoln. Richard was born on September 25, 1939 to the late Thurman Bryson and Grace Grindstaff Jones in Judkins, Idaho.
Richard loved the outdoors, especially the mountains and traveling in the Western United States. Especially trips that included his family. Richard loved trout fishing and was an excellent fly fisherman. He was a self-educated, do-it-yourself kind of guy. He was a lifelong learner who loved learning how to fix and do things on his own. Richard loved working on his cars and trucks from building engines to painting and pinstriping. His Monte Carlo was his favorite. Richard loved his church family at Pearl Baptist Church. He met the love of his life later in life.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Sease Jones, five children; David Michael Jones of Iron Station, Anthony Lynn Jones of Lawndale, Angela Jones Laughlin of Iron Station, Wesley Claude Hoyle of Iron Station, Bradley Dean Hoyle of Claremont, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many other cherished relatives and friends.
The Jones family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00pm on Friday November 10, 2023 at Pearl Baptist Church in Iron Station. A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday November 10, 2023 in the sanctuary of Pearl Baptist Church. Pastor Hugh Whitfield will be officiating.
