Doris & family, Our sincere condolences go out to you, Gail and family. So sorry to hear of David's passing. I am sure he will be greatly missed. At the present I don't know if I can get to the funeral, but if I am better I will surely be there. The last reunion he came to, he sat with me and I enjoyed so much talking to him. My heart goes out to you. Just know that we will be praying for you and the family. We love you, Brother & Sandra & the rest of the family

Dear family and friends,
Your are in our thoughts and prayers. As fellow Pathfinders we have spent many memorable adventures with Dave, Doris and Gail. What I remember was the 2 or 3 summers we spent together with a core group of committed survivalist backpackers. We used only a small army surplus back pack, a ground cloth, army poncho and an army blanket. We ate wild edibles ( I think Cindy cheated) cooked over the fire and made camps and shelters from the wild. I have since decided I am willing to use a frame backpack and carry my Thermorest air mattress and a sleeping bag!! We have continued to use the skills we learned and have shared them with many Pathfinders and friends.

Dave was also an advocate and regular sponsor for our Pathfinder Bike for Life Team. We will be cycling again this summer for for 14th annual ride!! Thanks Dave!!
May God continue to bless you all. We send you all our love and are looking forward to being reunited again when Jesus come to take us Home!!

We are sorry not to be able to be with you for the services in person.

Gerald & Kathy New, GP and Levi and families

Doris & Gail & family:

Please accept my sincerest condolences in the loss of David. I appreciate the time he always gave to assist me in my many endeavors, whether it be the Rescue Squad, repairing my truck or ambulances, or just sharing his daughter for a couple of years at CVCC. We always shared children and grandchildren adventures and I know he dearly loved you all. If I can be of assistance to you in any way, you know I''m never more than a phone call away.

My prayers are with you all in the hours and days to come and I know that losing the cornerstone of your family is heart breaking. Pull your family tightly together and take time to remain in each other''s lives. Your whole family holds a special place in my heart.

Sincerely,

Tim

Doris, Gail and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. David was a kind man. He had my back many times at Pathfinders. I am sorry that I can't be there personally to give you all a big hug, but I hope you know I would like to be there. A loss is hard, but you both are strong women and you have each other to hold onto. He loved his family!
